Music on the Mount

20th July 2008 at St Michaels Mount
Throughout the day you will be entertained to a wide variety of live music by local musicians
from swing to rock. There will be entertainment for the children and a range of stalls selling local produce, gifts, local crafts ware. This event is free, (normal castle & gardens entry prices still apply) and primarily takes place within and around the village and harbour areas. Event subject to weather and conditions. RNAS Culdrose Air Day

30th July 2008 Culdrose Helston
Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose has been given the ‘go ahead’ to hold an Air Day in 2008.
The Helston based Air Station is pleased to announce that this year’s event will be held on
Wednesday 30th July 2008. The event which has become a firm favourite in the Cornish
Event Calendar, enables the general public to experience the sights, sounds and smells of
one of Europe’s largest helicopter bases. It’s the only day of the year when the public can
‘experience the world of Culdrose’ and see what happens behind the security gates.
