Visit Bodmin Moor during your Holiday in Cornwall
Spend your camping or caravan holiday at Perran Springs Holiday Park and visit Bodmin Moor, an area of dramatic scenery and granite moorland. An area which is popular with walkers, is also home to Jamaica Inn, made famous by Daphne du Maurier’s novel. The moor has both neolithic and bronze age remains and has a number of tiny hamlets.
The 100 square miles of moorland is the source of the rivers Fowey and Camel. The reservoirs of Colliford and Siblyback are open to the public and provide recreational facilities. Nearby is the Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway, providing a nostalgic and scenic trip through the cornish countryside.
Information on events and activities around the Bodmin area can be obtained from the information area in Reception.
