gNat’s Nature Pond and Nature Trail - At Perran Springs Holiday Park
Nature lovers will find Perran Springs a haven for wildlife. Our Lake Meadow provides a
natural environment, for a variety of flora and fauna. Most of which, can be spotted from a
peaceful walk along the grass pathways of gNat’s Nature Trail, or by taking a seat on one
of our benches, positioned around our Lake Meadow. Explore gNat’s Nature Pond and
don’t forget to watch for the electric blue dragonflies, shy moorhens and dabbling ducks.
You might even be lucky and see our local badger, fox, bats, kingfisher, barn owl and jay.

The Nature Pond has been planted with native species such as; Purple Loosestrife, Marsh
Marigold, Water Forget-Me-Not, Water Plantain and the White Water Lily. This is combined
with the surrounding old Cornish Hedges, which contain Ivy, Hawthorn, Oak, Holly, Nettles
and Lichen.
