Book your self catering holiday in Cornwall at Perran Springs Holiday Park and visit
Mevagissey. Best described as a labyrinth of tiny streets. Closely packed buildings lead
down to the working harbour, with a small fishing fleet still in operation.
The village has a history of smuggling and at one time the villagers would build boats fast
enough to out-sail the revenue cutters. Today fishing trips are available from the harbour for
most levels of angler. The village is also home to the World of Model Railways.

Nearby are The Lost Gardens of Heligan, which is thought to be the largest garden restoration
project in Europe. Lost for 70 years, the gardens are now transformed to include a
working Victorian garden, rockery, pineapple pit, Italian garden and a 22 acre sub-tropical
ravine.
