Dragonfly lake is the deepest and holds our specimen carp.

Dragonfly Lake is best suited to experienced and patient carp anglers. Most of the carp here range from 10lb to just over 20lb, there are deeper gullies offering the most productive fishing spots. But in summer months, the margins and fishing close to over-hanging bushes work really well.
The lake also holds a strong stock of naturally bred carp, so if you’re not specifically targeting the larger specimens, you can still enjoy steady action from fish around 4lb, along with impressive roach over 1lb.
Less frequently fished than Mayfly or Butterfly Lakes, Dragonfly has a bit of a mysterious reputation. It can be more challenging, but for those willing to invest the time and effort, the rewards can be well worth it—including the occasional big tench or bream.
All fishing methods are effective here. If you’re after the larger carp using bait alarms, pellets and boilies tend to produce the best results. Using larger baits can help deter smaller fish and improve your chances of hooking a specimen.

A Well Established Natural Lake
Like our other two lakes, Dragonfly Lake is a naturally spring-fed water, offering excellent clarity and a consistent water level all year round. Surrounded by peaceful countryside, this lake is beautifully landscaped and thoughtfully maintained, creating the perfect environment for both anglers and wildlife.
With plenty of natural features, including lillies, overhanging bushes and marginal reeds, Dragonfly provides plenty of cover for fish to feel secure and thrive. This makes it an exciting and rewarding spot for anglers who enjoy stalking fish cruising just beneath the surface, particularly on calm, sunny days. Surface fishing here can be thrilling, especially in the warmer months when the carp are actively feeding on the top.
There are also several ideal spots for more traditional methods. Whether you’re casting a PVA bag to the margins, or opting for a German or Ronnie rig near the overhangs and deeper spots, the lake offers plenty of opportunities to test your tactics and skills.
A variety of swims are available around the lake — some bask in full sunshine, perfect for early mornings or cooler days, while others benefit from natural shade beneath mature trees, offering cooler, more comfortable sessions during hot weather.
Dragonfly Lake offers something for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned angler looking for a new challenge or a casual fisherman enjoying a peaceful day out by the wate

Comments from our guests
WOW
Seriously impressed doesn’t even come close to describing the venue. On arrival, the welcome was fantastic! The owners and staff are so friendly and happy, nothing is too much trouble for them. Walking around the park it was apparent that a lot of time and effort goes into making sure everything is well kept, clean and tidy. The shop is well setup with all your essentials to hand. The 3 fully stocked lakes look unbelievable, it would be easy to think you was sat around an old estate lake.
