Holiday Park
FAQ’s

How do I contact you?
You can email us for extra holiday info via info@perransprings.co.uk
Availability is shown live in our booking system. If you are on holiday with us and need us in an emergency we are available by phoning 01872 540568 or walk up to the Reception (when open) or the House (as we live on the park).
Can I request a particular area of the park or pitch?

Yes, our online booking system enables you to choose a particular area of the park and if you already have a pitch in mind, then this can be requested in the ‘notes’ section (subject to availability).

What if my tent, touring caravan or motorhome is over 7.5m in length?

Unfortunately we only allow Camping and Touring units to a maximum length of 7.5m (including attached
awnings/porches), so we would not be able to accept your booking.

Can I book adjacent pitches?

You can add a request to your online booking in the ‘notes’ section and we will do our best to accommodate your request. However, this depends on availability, so it’s better to book as early as possible for the main summer season.

Can I book adjacent holiday accommodation?

Yes, we have 3 Caravan Holiday Homes and they are sited in a row: Lapwing, Mallard and then Cormorant.

Our 2 Super Eurotents are back-to-back. The 2 Couples Log Pods (Heron and Moorhen) are next to one an-
other. The 3 Family Log Pods (Robin and Dove) are opposite to one another and (Wren) is back-to back with Dove.

It’s better to book as early as possible for the main summer season as availability will become limited.

When will I receive my booking confirmation?

When you book via our online booking system, you will receive your booking confirmation by email within a few hours. If your booking confirmation does not arrive within 24 hours please check your own email ‘junk’ folder before contacting us via info@perransprings.co.uk

How can I amend my holiday?

We understand that you may need to make changes to your original holiday booking. We will always try to accommodate any changes where possible. However, there will be an administration fee of £25 plus any relevant price difference.

When do I have to pay for my holiday?

If you are booking your holiday to arrive within 10 weeks, full payment will be requested at the time of booking. If you are booking further in advance then a 30% deposit will be taken, with the remaining holiday balance to be paid in full 10 weeks before arrival.

How do I pay for my holiday?

Your payment is made securely online through our booking system. To pay your balance click on the ‘pay now’ button on your holiday invoice (shown under the amount due). The system will accept most debit and credit cards.

What time can I arrive to start enjoying my holiday?
Camping and Touring arrival times are between 12 noon and 7pm.
Caravan Holiday Homes, Eurotents and Log Pod arrival times are between 3pm and 7pm.
What if I arrive late?

We are only a small family run park and in order not to disturb other guests our latest arrival time is 7pm. If you anticipate arriving after this time, then either book your holiday to arrive from 12 noon the following day or stop off on your journey and arrive the following morning. Unfortunately we do not have a late arrivals area. Keep us in touch on your journey if you think you may just miss the arrival time by calling 01872 540568.

What do I need to show in Reception on arrival?

Please print and bring along your booking confirmation, or just the name your booking was made under and your booking number if you are unable to print your confirmation.

What time do I need to leave on my last day?

The departure time for all pitches and accommodation is by 10am.

Can I use a BBQ?

You are welcome to bring and use your own BBQ, but please make sure it is raised on legs, so the grass is not burnt. Open camp fires, firepits and log-pits are not permitted.

Do fridges in the Eurotents or Caravan have a freezer compartment?

Unfortunately, the fridges do not have a freezer compartment.

Do you freeze ice-packs?

We do have an outdoor freezer, where you are welcome to freeze your own ice-packs, but please bag and label them clearly. The freezer must not be used for food or drink for hygeine reasons.

How do I purchase a fishing permit?

Fishing permits are available to purchase from Reception / Tackle Shop on the park, during opening times.
Please purchase any permits prior to fishing when the Tackle Shop is open. We have an excellent range of baits and tackle available in the tackle shop.

Do you offer Wi-Fi?

Yes we offer free limited Wi-Fi, but please see the Wi-Fi page for full details. We cannot guarantee that all pitches and/or accommodation will receive a signal.

Will I need a torch?

To help reduce light pollution and to maximise the enjoyment of the night sky, the park’s lighting is kept to the main amenity building area. Guests are advised to bring torches for their own convenience.
